If you're going to install the Blackbird Fabworx NC RZ roll bar in your car you will need to cut into the hard plastic cubbies behind the seats in order to clear the diagonals.
It is can be time consuming to get it done right, so we borrowed a solution from Mazda's own playbook and came up with a much easier alternative - soft cubbies made out of Felt, similar to what Mazda used in the ND.
This makes the trimming process quick and easy, just cut the plastic cubbies off while leaving enough of a flange to stick the supplied Velcro on and attach the new soft cubbies when you're done.
The soft cubbies are well made and designed to fit right around the diagonals.
